  1. Brown the ground beef and Italian sausage.
  2. Drain excess fat.
  3. Add all seasonings and let simmer for about 20 minutes.
  4. Add beans, diced tomatoes, tomato sauce and tomato paste.
  5. Let simmer for at least two hours for flavors to blend.

Amounts of spices can be increased or decreased for individual tastes.
